Role Modeling

At first I thought this was absolutely adorable...Jude wanting to open and close Bubbie's cell phone, and pretend he's talking.  But as I watched him a little more closely, I noticed his:
- "loss of eye contact" look
- his "oblivious to the world" look
- his repetitive speech pattern, "blah, blah, blah, blah, blah!"
OMG!  Jude was copying ME!  How did I miss that?
I wonder how many other people he's shown his act to?
Watching my P's and Q's,
Bubbie or soon to be known as, "the blah, blah, blah Bubbie!"
P.S.  Any planned or accidental role modeling traits your grandchildren or children have gotten from you?
P.S.S.  Ahh, I still think it's absolutely adorable!!!

  1. My 2-1/2 year old grandson has loved playing with a cell phone since he was about 9 months old. What is so surprising to me is that he can operate a real one. After asking for permission, he'll open the photo icon and go through all the pix and even play the videos. Then he goes to games, chooses Angry Birds and plays and plays and plays. How did our little ones get so smart so fast!

I've Read several of your blogs and really enjoyed them. Please stop by Mondays with Mimi sometime ( I've been babysitting this guy since he was born...yes, on Mondays, and I started writing about the cute things he did because I was afraid my 57 year old brain would forget them. Cindi
